Clinton Progressive Association Rummage Sale
It's that Spring Cleaning time of year again so the Clinton Progressive Association is asking for your help to execute another successful Annual Rummage Sale fundraiser at the Clinton Hall. The funds raised are used toward maintenance and improvements to the Hall.
The Rummage Sale date is to be Saturday April 2nd from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Donations of your gently used donated items will be accepted at the Clinton Hall
on these dates:
Tuesday March 29th. through Thursday March 31st. 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Friday April 1st. 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Please note: No Major Appliances or Upholstered Furniture and please, no clothes.
(donated clothes that is, we are not seeking naked donors!)

The Powers of Leadership has been a cornerstone program of the Whidbey Institute for a decade. We have four slots available in the upcoming cohort and welcome a conversation about your participation. If you are one of the more than 200 graduates of the program and would like to share this with a co-worker, friend, or loved one, please do.
We invite you to work with colleagues from across sectors - business, media, government, education, health, law, the arts, environment, science and technology, religion, philanthropy - to develop fresh insights, nourish your inner life, hone your skills, deepen your competence and confidence, and strengthen your commitment to the common good.

EDC Luncheon - Island County's Energy Future
Panelists include:
- Craig Collar, Snohomish PUD’s Senior Manager for Energy Resource Development

- Kelly Keilwitz, owner of Whidbey Sun and Wind
- Jennifer Tada, PSE's Director of System Planning
Discussions will include smart grid technology, the Admiralty Inlet tidal energy project, alternative energy options for the homeowner and the Greenbank Farm solar energy project.
Lunch with sandwiches, green and potato salads, chips and cookies is provided along with coffee, tea and water.

Whidbey Island Coop Tour
The Rock'n Doodle 4-H Poultry Club hosts its second annual Whidbey Island Coop Tour on Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This self-guided tour offers visitors some of Whidbey's funkiest and most beautiful chicken coops including a 'secret garden' coop in a small backyard forest, mini coops for heritage turkeys and even plucking demonstrations.
Tickets $10 per person or carpool are available at Bayview Farm and Garden at Bayview Corner, and Skagit Farmers Supply in Freeland and Oak Harbor. Tour website http://whidbeyislandcooptourdotorg.wordpress.com/
